Emotions Kicking Into High Gear

I must admit I'm getting kind of emotional (more than usual). Jeff's extra affection and kissing on the dog almost set me off the other day because I give him a hard time about loving her more than me. I held it in though because I knew he would think I'm being silly. I kind of am, but if you saw it you would understand, I promise! :-)

Today, I'm just cranky and angry that no one helps me around the house. As I swept the floor and complained about the pet hair, I was simultaneously griping at Jeff along the way and how he doesn't help. He'd finally had enough and wanted to know what my problem was. Don't you KNOW what my problem is?!? I'm over it and I apologized for being a witch, but he has to start getting used to it, right. :-)

All was forgiven when he told me his mom offered to buy our plane tickets home for Christmas. Then I lost it and the tears came. Good tears of course! I couldn't ask for a better mother-in-law.

3 Months Today - The First Baby Dream

I am now 12 weeks pregnant today and doing well. I had my first baby dream last night! We had a girl and then she grew up really fast and was as tall as me already. She was really pretty and had long brown hair (more like Jeff's color. However, in part of the dream when she was a baby, I was changing her diaper and she peed on me like a boy would :-)

It's getting to be that time . . . I'm gonna need to find some new clothes soon. Getting a little thicker and my pants are just uncomfortable. Mostly because of the bloating right now, but soon I may have a "bump." I did buy a dress already from Ann Taylor Loft because they were having a sale I couldn't resist. Here's a pic. Doesn't look bad now even.

First Ultrasound

Had my first ultrasound today! The doc couldn't get the heartbeat right away with the handheld doppler, so she did the ultrasound...what a trip! NOW this all seems real. The ultrasound photo turned out good and they say all is well and normal. Heartbeat of 182 beats per minute, normal size, ovaries good, etc. I just have a tilted uterus, so that's why they couldn't get the heartbeat with the doppler. Jeff was amazed at the technology (me, too!)

We'll keep you updated with the latest news...
